Youth Swim Lessons (June 15-18) - Summer 2026

SHARA is very excited to announce that Coach Amy Gruber will be teaching our Summer swim lessons. 

The second session will run June 15-18 at the South Haven High School Pool

(6+ year old) cost:
Monday - Thursday (12:30-1:15pm)

Learn-to-Swim Level 1
(6+ year old) cost:
Monday - Thursday (1:30-2pm)

Parent & Child Aquatics Level 1 & 2
(6months- 3year old)
Monday - Thursday (2:15-2:45pm)

Cooking Class - Middle/High School students - Spring 2026

In this hands-on, 6-week class, middle and high school students will explore the connection between growing food and making meals. During the first session, students will set up a small hydroponics lab and prepare a simple recipe. Each week begins with caring for their hydroponic plants, observing growth, adjusting nutrients, and learning how fresh food is produced.

After maintenance, students transition into the kitchen for a cooking session driven by their interests, creating dishes inspired by what they’re growing and what they want to learn. This class blends science, sustainability, and culinary creativity, giving students ownership over both their garden and their menu.

Pee-Wee (Tee Ball & Coach Pitch) - Spring 2026

Pee-Wee Baseball is for boys and girls 4-6 years old who want to learn the fundamentals of hitting and fielding. Rules of the game are designed to accommodate the need for teaching. As a non-competitive division, the primary goals of  this division are to instruct children in the fundamentals of baseball/softball.

Youth Girls Softball (7-14 yrs old) - JYL - Spring 2026

SHJYL regular season community league provides a platform for learning and developing fundamentals at all ages. Players 7+ with any level of experience will get the instruction they need to have fun and be successful on the field. Teams are selected by coaches through a draft process.  8U-12U teams play in the SAC West Division with area community league teams in addition to SHJYL teams.

Age Groups/Divisions 

7-8 yrs (8U) - Pitching machine

9-10 yrs (10U) - Pitching machine

11-12 yrs (12U) - Live pitch

 13-14 yrs  (14U) - Live pitch (students will compete with area middle schools)

Youth Baseball (7-14 yrs old) - JYL - Spring 2026

SHJYL regular season community league provides a platform for learning and developing fundamentals at all ages.
